B. Team Scoring
a. The Total Team vs. Team Points Possible is 2.
b. The Scoring is as follows:
Add up the Net Scores (Actual score minus handicap) for all three players.
The Team with the Lowest Total Team Net Score wins 2 points.
C. Total Team Scoring
a. The Total Team Score Possible is 9.
A. Scramble rules: Take the best shot of the team for each succeeding shot and play from there. Each team will turn in one score for the team.
B. Low Man rules: Each player gets a handicap on each hole (e.g. an 11 handicapper would get one stroke on each hole plus 2 strokes on the two toughest holes on the nine being played. This is indicated on the scorecard.) Each player tallies a score. The team member with the lowest net score on the hole will be the score the team uses. Each team will record one score for each hole in this manner. The team will then add up all the holes and submit a team score.
C. Bestball League Scoring: The first place team will receive ten points, the second place team will receive nine points, etc. Ties between two or more teams will result in averaging the points between the teams.
League Specific Rules
1. All Players will play from the White Tees.
2. Out of Bounds will be played as a lateral hazard. Drop your ball back in play at approximately where it went out of bounds and play from there with a one stroke penalty.
3. There will be no stroke penalty for balls lost in the high grass in your rough. This excludes high grass around water, trees, or cornfields. The opposing team must agree it was not lost in a water hazard or out of bounds. This rule was adopted to speed up play.
4. You may improve your lie in your fairway or rough by moving the ball six inches no closer to the hole. This excludes hazards such as sandtraps, trees, wooded areas or along water.
5. If a Team does not have three players present (including substitutes), it will forfeit 2 points for the individual match and 2 points for the team match.
6. No Scores higher than 10 will be counted for scoring matches. As before, no score higher than three over par will be counted for figuring handicaps.
7. If you are still in the fairway and lie 7, pick up your ball and take a 10 for the hole.
- There is no allowance for Mulligans or do overs in the league.
- There is no allowance for Gimmes in the league. Everyone must putt out.
8. Please try to utilize common sense and courtesy to avoid slow play so that all groups can finish before dark.
